• Evacuation Sledge with Pouch EVSG

  This device consists of dual inner foam, lower layer firm to ride over any surfaces, carpets, concrete or any bumps like stairs, and an upper layer for patient comfort. There are safety belts and a foot pocket to hold the patient in place, pulling loops at each end and a tough slippery coated bottom side. The loop at the head end is to hold back when descending stairways. One or two people required. The whole item is stored in a pouch and can hang on the wall. EVSG

  This anti pressure overlay is permanently in place on top of a traditional sprung mattress. It is 90mm deep and the topside is covered in a vapour permeable, two way stretch wipe clean material, the bottom is tough PVC coated for sliding over any surface like stairs. It is held on the bed with tucks which double as cocooning flaps to hold the patient in transit. The flexible nature of the unit enables narrow doorways and stairs to be negotiated. With this device the patient does not have to be transferred. Two people required. EVO

• Compact Evacuation Mat EVM-W

  Our new Evacuation mat is designed to be small and compact as well as being very hard wearing. The unit in constructed of highly durable fabric with a foam pad for comfort. The principles of the unit are the same as with all our evacuation products. The webbing runs the full length of the unit encapsulating both head and foot end pulling straps in one piece of very strong webbing. Together with the two body straps for tall and short patients. Once the patient is on the unit they can be enveloped for security by the wings on either side. Secured by the webbing and buckles and then pulled to safety by means of the head and foot pull straps. A slippy underside ensures ease of movement on any surface, such as carpet, vinyl or concrete. A risk assessment needs to be carried out prior to any training or emergency. The unit has a SWL of 150kg.

• Evacuation Sheet EVS

  Evacuation sheet to be permanently in place under anti pressure mattress. This fixes permanently to the bottom of a flexible foam mattress by means of strong elastics. It has safety belts to hold the patient on the mattress and pulling straps at each end. The combination of slippery sheet and mattress which will flex, will pass through narrow doorways and down stairs. The holding strap at the head is to hold back on stairways. Two people required. No transferring of patient. There are pockets for the straps. EVS

  Evacuation sheet to be permanently in place under anti pressure mattress 120 cm wide. This fixes permanently to the bottom of a flexible foam mattress by means of strong elastics. It has safety belts to hold the patient on the mattress and pulling straps at each end. The combination of slippery sheet and mattress which will flex, will pass through narrow doorways and down stairs. The holding strap at the head is to hold back on stairways. Two people required. No transferring of patient. There are pockets for the straps. EVS120

• Bariatric Evacuation Sledge EVSG100

  Our bariatric evacuation sledge is a very similar to our standard evacuation sledge. One of the benefits of the bariatric sledge is that the dual layer foam is widened to accommodate the larger person. The dual core foam is made up of two separate specifications, the base layer being a heavy duty construction to aid patients in transit on uneven surfaces and stairs. The layer surface foam is to comfort the patient in transit. The webbing used runs the full length of the unit to aid in strength and mobility when moving the patient. The webbing has a breaking strength of over 2 tonnes. The evacuation sledge is stored in a heavy duty bag that can be hung on the wall. Instructions are sewn to the outside of the bag. • Air Mattress Evacuation Sheet AEVS

  Our air mattress evacuation sheet is a very similar design to our standard evacuation sheet. The sheet can be left permanently on the mattress by way of the large pockets to accommodate most depths of mattresses due to the discreet elasticated corners. The unit has large pulling straps at either end to aid negotiation of stair ways. With securing straps to hold the patient when in transit. Elongated foot pocket with securing webbing to steadily hold the users feet in place. Designed with eight out lets to accommodate the mattress tubes.
